The abbreviation FVH stands for Frédérique van Heesch (1984). Being the daughter of a shoe designer and an importer of buckles and fashion accessories, love for fashion has always been part of her life. After finishing her master’s degree in Economical Psychology, Frédérique decided to move to Florence, the Italian centre of leather production. There she successfully studied Fashion Marketing at Polimoda Fashion School. Her dream became a reality when she was hired by the Gucci Group to join the Balenciaga Leather Goods product development team.

Slowly a need to implement her own creativity and designs in these products started to grow: the time had come for Frédérique to start her own brand of bags and FVH was born. A bag by FVH offers you the best of two worlds: simple yet elegant design, always with a twist.
